Edith I. Kunzier

Edith I. Kunzier, 83, of Whitpain Township passed away on Wednesday November 16, 2022 at Sunrise Senior Living in Blue Bell PA. Born November 21, 1938 in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of William J. Clark and Edith Miranda Clark.

Edie retired from York Federal Savings after many years of service. She was a member of Saint Patrick’s Church in York, PA. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and the Saint Patrick’s Ladies Patricians. 

Edith was the wife of the late John W. Kunzier, to whom she was married for 58 years. She will be missed by her son, John M. Kunzier, daughter-in-law Elizabeth Wahl Kunzier of Ambler, PA. Her daughter, Mary Ann Reiker and son-in-law, Thomas J. Reiker of York, PA. She leaves her nine grandchildren, Jen Pyott, Kate Brokans, Jack, Claire, Libby, Will, and Brendan Kunzier, Pam Reiker Dulcey, Erik Reiker and four great-grandchildren. Her sister-in-law, Adeline Bothell, resides in Lititz, PA, her brother William Clark and Rita Ponessa, lives in Cornwall-on-the Hudson, New York.

Edith’s caring and hard-working spirit will be sorely missed by her family.

A memorial mass for both Edith and her late husband John will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church located at 259 Forest Ave, Ambler, PA 19002 with Rev. Msgr. Stephen McHenry as celebrant. Family and friends may call beginning at 10:30 a.m. until the start of mass. Interment will be private.
