Elizabeth "Betsy" Quinn

Elizabeth (Betsy) Quinn of Ambler, PA passed away peacefully on March 31, 2023, at the age of 76.

Betsy was born in Philadelphia, grew up in Blue Bell, Pa and was a proud alumna of Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School where she developed lifelong friendships. She also attended Pierce Junior College for certification as a Physician Assistant.

Betsy is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Charlie, and by her children: Bryan, Kevin, Katy, Stacey and Lauren as well as nine grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Mike and Chick. She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Margaret McBrien and her sister, Peg O’Brien.

Betsy loved meeting people and quickly made many friends wherever she went. All remember her sparkling blue eyes, her quick wit, and competitive spirit. She was an avid golfer and spent many happy years as a member of Manufactures Golf and Country Club where she was a member of the ladies’ golf team.

Betsy was also a talented artist (watercolors), a skill she inherited from her mother. She enjoyed taking classes as a member of the Greater Norristown Art League and working in her home studio. She found great joy traveling, socializing with family and her wide circle of friends, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Betsy’s kind heart, overwhelming generosity and heartwarming smile will be remembered always with love.

Relatives and friends are invited to call between 9:30 and 10:30 on Thursday, May 11th at Saint Matthews Roman Catholic Church, 219 Fayette St. Conshohocken, PA. A Memorial Mass will follow at 10:30am.
