Patricia Ann Griffith

Patricia Ann Griffith, age 75, of Penllyn, passed away peacefully at home on September 29, 2022.

Patricia was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 14, 1946 to the late Thomas and Eleanor (née McGuire). She attended the Mount Saint Joseph Academy and went on to attend and graduate from Gwynedd Mercy University with a nursing degree.

She began her career in Japan by taking care of injured service members while her husband was deployed. She worked for over 40 years as a nursing home administrator.

Pat loved to plant flowers, tend to her garden, and spend time at the beach with her family. Patricia was also involved and interested with the activities and sports of her children and grandchildren. She was also very fond of all her dogs that she had over the years. Patricia would enjoy listening to Johnny Mathis and absolutely loved any unsolvable murder mystery.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Robert Lee Griffith; three daughters, Leigh Griffith, Amy Griffith, and Kate Ladd (Jim); five grandchildren, Robert, Ryan, Megan, Jimmy, and Robbie; one great-granddaughter, Reagan; and her sister, Maureen Gansz (Edgar).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved granddaughter, MaryPat Siess.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 259 Forest Ave, Ambler, PA 19002, with Rev. Michael Saban as celebrant. Interment will follow at the family plot in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oncology Department at the Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia.
